As part of this process, dewatered biosolids are conveyed via mechanical equipment directly into trailer beds for offsite hauling or onsite drying. The existing conveyance system, which plays a critical role in the continuous handling and management of biosolids, requires removal and replacement of major parts and components to maintain operational reliability and efficiency.</p><p>This project involves furnishing all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the existing belt and specified mechanical parts with a new, compatible, City-supplied rubberized 24 inch-wide belt and City-supplied compatible mechanical components.</p><p>The work is expected to begin at 7:00 a.m. and be completed within approximately 12 hours on a single day. Service Provider may stage equipment and materials at the site one day prior to the scheduled work. A mandatory pre-bid job walk will be held for this project and attendance is required in order to submit a bid. A pre-construction meeting will also be scheduled prior to the project's start date.</p>",
