Description
The City of Alexandria (City) on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Environmental Services (T&ES) is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for construction engineering analysis and inspection services. Analysis and inspection services are for approximately 560 lane miles of roadways, approximately 1,200 miles of pedestrian facilities and approximately 70 elevated structures (road bridges, pedestrian bridges, culverts). It is intended that the inspections provided ensure that the multimodal transportation network is safe, reliable and constructed within the parameters of Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Federal guidelines and requirements.
