Heavy Duty Towing

saccounty / DGS: CAPSD - Procurement

Description

General work description: The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is working to help eliminate the large number of HEAVY DUTY vehicles and trailers that are found to be operated or parked illegally on the streets and roadways of the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County. The Sheriff’s Department has the legal authority to tow vehicles for multiple vehicle code authorities and, in many instances, can do so at the first contact with these problem Heavy Duty vehicles. The goal will be to tow as many of these problem vehicles at our first contact with them, as opposed to leaving a warning that requires a follow up and time delays to remove them from the roadways.
