2021 "May is Bike Month" Public Relations & Project Management (RFP# 202021-09)

sacog / Procurement & Contracts

Description

The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is seeking a creative, innovative, and experienced firm to manage and execute its 2021 May is Bike Month Virtual Campaign. The 2021 campaign will be very similar to the 2020 campaign in that it will encourage bicycling for all types of trips and will host virtual events. SACOG recommends proposers provide unique and creative solutions to convert car trips to bike trips during an all-virtual campaign. Previous campaigns have included the tasks outlined in the scope of work, but those tasks can be modified or changed by the proposer if it makes a case for how the changes bring innovative approaches to changing travel behavior, especially in a virtual setting. SACOG will provide full administrative access to MayisBikeMonth.com including access to participant contact information, campaign data, survey results, and website content for explicit use of promoting and managing the campaign. SACOG can also provide contact lists and vendor information. Proposers are encouraged to make a budget recommendation that realistically reflects the number of hours that will be needed to complete the tasks in this RFP. Costs for promotional materials like t-shirts and website development are not included in this scope as they will be paid for by SACOG or an existing consultant. SACOG will manage email inquiries from participants. Each proposal should include: Scope of work with proposal of how many hours will be spent on each task and associated costs based on hourly rates of the staff that would work on those tasks; Work portfolio or examples from other similar projects; and Any additional information the proposer deems appropriate to showing qualifications for scope of work.
