Description

Pinellas County will be constructing High Point Community Park on the site of the former High Point Elementary School, in partnership with the Pinellas County School District and the City of Largo. The push towards the development of the park came about from feedback and guidance from members of the community. On the approximate 10 acres of land, the County plans to build amenities such as multi-purpose athletic fields, basketball courts, lighting, playground, walking trail, picnic shelter and restrooms which will be adjacent to the High Point Elementary School. During school hours, the park will serve the students of High Point Elementary. It will be open to the residents of the High Point community after school hours as well as on the weekends.
