Description of Intended Products or Services Provided: GlideScope Go 2 is Verathon’s second generation handheld video laryngoscope. This waiver will cover the medical device GlideScope device along with any accessories and training necessary. GlideScope Go 2 with Spectrum QC delivers a high-resolution real-time video of the patient's airway, which greatly improves intubation success. This tool will be used in emergency medical and trauma scenarios when airway management is necessary. Collier County EMS currently does not use video laryngoscopes, which has become an industry standard and best practice.
