Description
The project involves renovation of the ground floor of the Henrico Human Services Building to create new office spaces for the Henrico Department of Social Services and the Henrico Drug Court. The majority of the existing walls, finishes, and systems will be removed. New walls and finishes will consist of gypsum board on metal studs, ACT and gypsum board ceilings, wood ceiling panels, carpet, and tile. New VAV boxes and branch ductwork will be required for the HVAC system. Plumbing systems will be renovated to provide new and upgraded handicapped accessible restrooms. New electrical panels and distribution will be required. A new 1MW generator will be installed to serve the entire building. Exterior improvements will be required to install the new generator, transformer, automatic transfer switch and new dumpster enclosure. A new canopy will cover the rear loading dock entrance and the new automatic transfer switch
