The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to construct the Sequence V Cap and Cell 1A Cap Project at the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility (LCSWMF) The project site is at the LCSWMF, located at 21101 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The work consists of heavy earthwork, geosynthetics installation, and pipe work tasks. The geosynthetics work consists of procuring, delivering, unloading, deploying, and installing (welding, tying, seaming), various geosynthetic materials, and performing quality control, testing, and other associated work. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor needed to construct multi-layered landfill cap systems and leachate force main piping and fittings. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all quality control, testing, and surveying to ensure the project is completed per the Contract Documents.
