Description

The Retirement Board (Board) of the Pasadena Fire & Police Retirement System (System) seeks proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the System’s financial statements for three years with two additional option years for a total potential contract term of five years beginning April 1, 2023. In addition, the Board seeks general auditing services to be provided during the contract term, including: coordination with the System actuary and legal counsel regarding funding issues and questions; and consultation to the Board regarding reporting changes, regulations and requirements. In the event of changed accounting standards released by the Government Accounting Standards Board, the auditor will comply with the current standard. The auditor will perform services related to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.
