CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION FOR PARKING DECK CONSTRUCTION

Description
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts requests expressions of interest from general contractors who wish to prequalify as bidders for the construction of a concrete Parking Deck for 600 cars on the museum¿s campus in Richmond, VA. Only contractors that have been prequalified will be offered the opportunity to submit a bid on this project. Interested contractors must obtain two documents from VMFA and a set of drawings for the project, and submit five copies of the required documents not later than 2:00 pm, 15 July 2004 to the museum. The required documents, instructions for completion, and instructions for required submissions can be obtained from the VMFA website (http://www.vmfa.state.va.us/expansion.html), or in writing from Brian Haggard by postal mail at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, 200 N. Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220-4007, by email at bhaggard@vmfa.state.va.us, or by fax at 804-340-1557. The required drawing set can be obtained from Rick Mather + SMBW, LLC, 1329 East Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23219, 782-2115 after payment for document printing and shipping (anticipated to be less than $50).
