The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain bids for the purchase, storage, and delivery of Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) approved Traffic Signal Poles, Mast Arms, for the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure. The purchase of poles, storage, and delivery will be on an as-needed basis. The County anticipates that after a signal pole is fabricated, it will be stored at the fabricators or distributors site until need for installation. The County reserves the right to have the signal poles and mast arms delivered to a County owned and operated storage area. Bidders must have a letter from a VDOT pre-approved supplier indicating that they are an approved distributor of Traffic Signal Poles in order to be eligible for this contract.
