Description

The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to obtain the services of a qualified electrical contractor to supply and install twenty-four (24) Light Emitting Diode (LED) parking lot lights and poles, Solar Panels for a Photovoltaic System for power generation, to include a net metering connection into the existing power grid, five (5) Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations and all associated cabling and hardware to complete an operational system, for the Scott Jenkins Memorial Park. The aforementioned system will be utilized by the two hundred fifty (250) space “park and ride” lot and entrance/exit. Generally, the project is a multiuse facility that incorporates a sports facility and a commuter park and ride lot operated by the County. The site for the park facility is located 1.3 miles west of Rt. 9 on the north side of Business Route 7 (Colonial Hwy) in Hamilton, Virginia. The allocated site is 35.1 acres in the Catoctin Election District. Go to www.loudoun.gov/procurement for bid documents.
