Description
The New River Valley Regional Jail Authority is issuing a "Request for Proposals" under the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 as amended for interested firms to submit proposals for "Construction Management at Risk" services for a 488 bed addition and selected renovation to the regional jail located in Dublin, Virginia. The Regional Jail provides incarceration services to the Counties of Bland, Carroll, Floyd, Grayson, Giles, Pulaski, Wythe and the City of Radford. The complete RFP document, complete with proposal submission requirements, highlights of the approved Planning Study, project schedule, and the Authority PPEA Guidelines may be viewed on the Authority's web page at www.nrvrj.org or by contacting Mr. Gerald McPeak, Superintendent, at (540) 643-2001, for a hard copy. Pre-proposal meeting at 10:00am on September 12, 2007 at the Regional Jail in Dublin, Virginia. Proposals due no later than 4:00 pm Local Prevailing Time on October 02, 2007.
