Description
The Work generally consists of the construction of a new approximately 30,000 square foot single story building to serve the needs of the Mental Health and Developmental Services East Clinic for the County of Henrico. The building will be a single-story steel framed structure with low sloped roof. The exterior walls will be constructed with a masonry wainscot cavity wall construction with drainable EIFS above. Windows will be aluminum storefront with 1” insulated glazing. The roof will be a single ply membrane construction with gutters and downspouts for drainage. Roof mounted mechanical units will have unit mounted screens. Skylights will be provided over select interior spaces. A pre-manufactured canopy is at the building entrance. Interior construction generally consists of light gauge steel studs with drywall and finishes as indicated. Sitework includes of clearing, demolition of existing house and wells, grading, providing underground stormwater retention, paving, landscaping, and utility improvements to support the new facility. The project site is located at 3908 Nine Mile Road, Henrico, Virginia, 23223. The Project is designed to comply with a Silver Certification Level according to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System.
