Description

Leon County is seeking a qualified contractor for the transportation and recycling of waste tires collected by the Leon County Solid Waste Management Division. Preference will be given to Vendors that recycle or where tires have some beneficial use as recycled materials. Use as a Fuel may constitute recycling. Therefore the final disposition of the tires needs to be articulated as part of your bid. The tires to be transported and recycled will be whole automobile, light truck, commercial truck tires and some oversized tires. Rims may be included with each load.
