Description

Flagler County School Board is accepting proposals for the purchase of a Next Generation Firewall solution with advanced malware protection. The intent is to deliver a solution that meets the District’s network security needs. The recommended solution must support the throughput and security needs of 13,000 students, 2,500 staff, 20,000 district networked devices, and student/staff personal BYOD (“Bring Your Own” Devices). Current internet access is provided to the school district Wide Area Network (10GB WAN) from a ISP connection (5GB) to its data center. The district anticipates that the Internet connection may grow up to 10 Gbps and WAN up to 40 Gb over the next three to five years. The successful Respondent shall be awarded a contract for a three (3) year term.
