Description

New Braunfels Utilities (“NBU”) invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) from qualified firms interested in providing construction services in connection with the construction of the Western Downtown to Morningside PZ Conversion (the “Project”). The Project has been designed by Quiddity Engineering, LLC. The Project is anticipated to include but not limited to the following items within its scope: (i) construction of approximately 17,000 linear feet of 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, 16-inch, and 18-inch watermain piping by open cut and trenchless methods; (ii) pressure reducing valve (“PRV”); (iii) grout fill abandonment of existing piping; (iv) removal of existing piping; (v) traffic control; (vi) storm water pollution prevention; (vii) restoration; and (viii) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project.
