The City of Seattle recognizes the critical importance of ensuring public health, environmental safety, and community well-being through effective Recreation Vehicle (RV) wastewater collection and disposal services. To address this need, the City seeks to contract with a single vendor capable of providing comprehensive services. This includes the collection and proper disposal of both black and gray water from RVs parked in the public right-of-way, strict compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and expertise in handling diverse RV wastewater connections. The proper collection and disposal of wastewater from RVs is essential to prevent environmental contamination, protect local water resources, and mitigate potential public health risks. Wastewater from RVs often contains hazardous pollutants, including bacteria and chemicals, that can harm ecosystems and pose serious health threats if not managed appropriately. By removing wastewater efficiently and safely, the City aims to address these risks while also improving the quality of life for both RV occupants and surrounding communities.
