Description

The purpose of this Request for Quotation is to define the County’s minimum requirements for a quantity of 250 Level C HazMat Personal Protective Kits (size 2XL) and 10 rolls of HazMat chemical tape by which the County may evaluate products offered by contractors or vendors. As used herein, the term contractor or vendor shall mean the contractor, its employees, or agents. The awarded vendor shall provide a total quantity of 250 Level C HazMat Personal Protective Kits (Size 2XL) and 10 (ten) rolls of chemical tape. HazMat Personal Protective kits shall include the following contents: Kit contents not made with natural rubber latex, One laminated, multi-layer hooded coverall with sealed seams and storm flap, Pre-measured ChemTape® strips or equivalent One pair of nitrile outer gloves, One pair of HazMat boot liners, One pair of nitrile exam gloves (2 sizes), One pair of vinyl over boots, Non-vented goggles, and N95 protective mask. Chemical Tape shall meet the following specifications: 2" x 60-yard roll of HazMat tape (48 mm wide and 55 meters long), Chemical resistant, Designed specifically for use with personal protective apparel, and 98% latex free.
