  "summary": "<p><em><strong>1.01 Purpose of the RFI</strong></em></p><p>The Rose Bowl Operating Company would like to review options necessary to replace and upgrade the existing North Video Display and structure that is fully integrated with existing control equipment and other current video displays.&nbsp;</p><p>The City of Pasadena acting through its agent Rose Bowl Operating Company (&ldquo;RBOC&rdquo;), is soliciting information from potential bidders for the replacement of the North Video Display along with the coordination and integration with existing display systems at the stadium.</p><p><strong>The information, data, comments, or reactions obtained may be used as research for a future solicitation. &nbsp;This RFI does not constitute and Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, or Informal Request for Bid or Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the City of Pasadena or RBOC.</strong></p><p>RBOC will review all responses received. &nbsp;If RBOC decides to issue a solicitation for commodities or services, the procurement will be conducted in accordance with City of Pasadena and RBOC Procurement laws, rules, and guidelines. &nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>1.02 Assistance to Individuals with a Disability</strong></em></p><p>Contact the procurement officer, as soon as possible, if an individual with a disability needs assistance with the RFI, including any events in the RFI Schedule, so reasonable accommodations can be made.&nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>1.03 Questions and Requests for Clarification</strong></em></p><p>Please submit any questions or requests for clarifications about this RFI in writing by email to the procurement officer by the deadline for submission of questions and requests for clarification identified in the RFI Schedule. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>1.04 Notice Provided&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p>This RFI and any related amendment and notices will be posted on the Rose Bowl Stadium website at: &nbsp;http://rosebowlstadium/about/stadium-rfp</p><p>Notices related to this RFI will be sent to the Proposed Bidders List for the needed commodity or service and other known potential vendors. &nbsp;Additionally, vendors may request to receive notices related to this RFI by contacting the procurement officer in writing with the following information: &nbsp;RFI title, business name, contact person, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and email address.&nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>1.05 Respondents Responsible for All Preparation Costs</strong></em></p><p>Respondents are responsible for all costs associated with the preparation, submittal, and presentation of their response to this RFI.</p><p><em><strong>1.06 Public Records&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p>All submitted information accepted by the RBOC shall become the exclusive property of the RBOC. &nbsp;Upon opening, all submissions accepted by the RBOC shall become a matter of public record and shall be regarded as public, with the exception of those elements of each submission which are identified by the Responder as business or trade secrets and plainly marked as \"trade secret,\" \"confidential,\" or \"proprietary.\" &nbsp;Each element of a submission which a responder desires not to be considered a public record must be clearly marked as set forth above, and any blanket statement (i.e., regarding entire pages, documents, or other non-specific designations) shall not be sufficient and shall not bind the RBOC in any way whatsoever. &nbsp;If disclosure is required under the California Public Records Act or otherwise by law (despite the responder&rsquo;s request for confidentiality), the RBOC shall not in any way be liable or responsible for the disclosure of any such records or part thereof.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
