Description
UVA has a need for approximately 7,165 rsf of combined office space, kitchen area/break room, classroom, supply area, & locker rooms. Facility will house the Health System ground medical transport service. Parking spaces required for 14 employees & 9 emergency/ambulance vehicles. Ideally, parking for the emergency/ambulance vehicles will have access to shore line power and be housed in a climate controlled facility. Facility shall generally be located within 20 minutes of the UVA Medical Center with easy access to major thorough-fares. A 3- year firm term lease term is anticipated with options for renewals. Email or facsimile responses should be received no later than 4:00 p.m. April 13, 2009, at, Lease Administrator, Space and Real Estate Management Department, University of Virginia, P.O. Box 400884, Charlottesville, VA 22904-4884. Based on the responses received, UVA intends to solicit for suitable spaces as defined. It is the policy of UVA to encourage the participation of minority, small and female owned businesses in its procurement activities. University reserves the right to reject any and all offers and to cancel this solicitation at any time.
