Description

The Sacramento County Department of Airports (Department) invites qualified food and beverage (F&B) operators to submit proposals to operate a café and bar & restaurant at Sacramento International Airport (Airport) located pre-security within Terminal B. The Department desires to enter into a Food and Beverage Concession Agreement (Agreement) with an operator to remodel, operate, and maintain food and beverage services for Airport customers and employees. The selected proposer will operate this location with concepts that reflect the region’s identity as “America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital”, while maintaining a Sacramento sense of place with local and/or regional branding, meeting the needs and preferences of customers at fair price points, offering a variety of options, and making the customer feel valued and appreciated. The selected proposer will work in parallel with the Department to uphold its mission and vision of being “the most loved airport” by “putting people at the center of every trip, every experience, every day”. The selected proposer will work quickly to open these spaces to showcase local and regional beverages and dishes, supporting Farm-to-Fork practices and principles utilizing fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients and products. The selected proposer will comply with the County’s environmental and sustainability goals, such as reducing waste, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. This Request for Proposals (RFP) document provides the project details, requirements, criteria, timeline, and guidelines applicable to the preparation of a complete response.
