The zoning regulations need to be consistent with applicable laws. The completed zoning ordinance must be user-friendly, while also implementing the policies, goals, and objectives of the General Plan. These services must include meaningful public outreach and engagement throughout the planning process. Project B Review, update, and modernize the City’s Sign Code as outlined in Thousand Oaks Municipal Code Title 9, Chapter 3, Article 23. During the review process, identify deficiencies in the current sign regulations and revise to meet the objectives of, and be consistent with, the General Plan, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws. The goal is to develop objective, clear, and easily understandable standards that are straightforward to administer, ensuring they reflect the community's values and enhance the city's aesthetic. Please note that the scope of work is segmented into two distinct projects. Each project will be individually quoted, and one or more contractors may be chosen to execute each specific project.
