Description
The Town of Leesburg is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform relining repairs to approximately 8150 feet of 8¿ gravity sewer lines, re-instating 4¿ and/or 6¿ laterals with robotic cutter, removing protruding laterals or hammer taps, and short-lining or grouting of laterals to existing sanitary sewer lines. Interested bidders may call the Department of Utilities at 703-771-2750 or fax 703-737-7185 for additional information and to request a copy of the IFB or visit the town¿s website at www.leesburgva.org to download a copy. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 in the Town of Leesburg Municipal Government Center. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not a requirement for submitting a bid but highly recommended. Bids will be accepted by the Town of Leesburg¿s Department of Utilities located at the Leesburg Municipal Government Center, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, VA 20176, until 2 p.m., prevailing time, Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.
