The City of Santa Monica, ("City") is inviting proposals from individuals or firms interested in providing consultant services to assess affordable housing developments and programs, both current and future needs" The City will release a Notice of Availability for three City-owned sites, pursuant to the Surplus Land Act ("SLA"). Tasks will include performing financial feasibility assessments, managing the activities of consultants and developers, tasks specifically related to the SLA involving review of responses and assistance with negotiations, and other tasks related to the development and preservation of affordable housing. The City is seeking a firm-fixed contract for an initial term of one (1) year with four (4) one-year renewal options.
