  "summary": "<p>Notice is hereby given that the Town of Northlake is now calling for bids for construction of &nbsp;&nbsp;SOUTHWEST 0.5 MG ELEVATED STORAGE TANK.&nbsp; <strong>All bids must be received in person</strong> as sealed and clearly marked &ldquo;SEALED BID &ndash; SOUTHWEST 0.5 MG ELEVATED STORAGE TANK&rdquo; and returned to the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, TX 76226, prior to <u>2:00 PM, CDST, Tuesday, April 29, 2025</u> at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.&nbsp; The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in its sole discretion for any reason or no reason.<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> No responses should be submitted through the OpenGov eProcurement portal.</strong></span></p><p>The Contract Documents may be examined or obtained on-line by visiting the Town of Northlake&rsquo;s Purchasing website at <a href=\"http://www.town.northlake.tx.us/Bids\">http://www.town.northlake.tx.us/Bids</a> and clicking on the link to the advertised project.&nbsp; The Contract Documents may be downloaded, viewed, and printed by interested bidders.</p><p>Contract Documents may also be examined or purchased at the offices of Halff, at the following address:</p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Halff</p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">2601 Meacham Blvd. Suite 600</p><p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Fort Worth, Texas 76137-4204</p><p>The cost for Contract Documents is <u>$80.00</u> per half size set. The cost of Contract Documents is not refunded.&nbsp; Submit check, cashier check or money order for payment.&nbsp; Cash will not be accepted.</p><p>A <u>non-mandatory</u> prebid meeting for the project will be held at the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, TX 76226 at <u>10:00 AM, CDST, Tuesday, April 15, 2025</u></p><p>Questions regarding Contract Documents distribution, content, scope, or other information presented shall be submitted in writing to Ron King <a href=\"mailto:rking@halff.com\">rking@halff.com</a>.&nbsp; Questions about Contract Documents shall be received by April 22, 2025. Answers will be provided in an addendum(s).&nbsp; No questions will be accepted after this date.</p><p>This project includes construction of a 0.5 MG elevated storage tank located to the east of N. Farm to Market Road 156 and within the future Hillwood development.</p><p>Bidders must submit a cashier&rsquo;s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder&rsquo;s bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract.&nbsp;&nbsp; The security must be payable to <u>Town of Northlake</u> in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted.&nbsp; Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents.</p><p>Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents, in accordance with Texas Gov&rsquo;t Code Ch. 2258.</p><p>Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required.</p><p>The <u>Town of Northlake</u> reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities, in its sole discretion for any reason or no reason.&nbsp; Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.</p>",
