The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will receive bids for: STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS MONTICELLO AVENUE The scope of work includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform selected demolition of existing paving and walkways, construction of new curb, sidewalks, gutters, pavement, and limited drainage infrastructure and minor landscaping as described in construction documents. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM local prevailing time on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the office of the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 201 Granby Street, 9th floor conference room, Norfolk, Virginia, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications will be available for review at NRHA Office of Economic Opportunities, 201 Granby Street, Suite 301, Norfolk, VA; Builders and Contractors Exchange, Norfolk, VA; and the Virginia Procurement Website (www.eva.virginia.gov). A CD will be available for purchase from NRHA, 201 Granby Street, 6th floor, Norfolk, VA for the non-refundable price of ten dollars ($10.00, company check only). NRHA does not discriminate against individuals because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
