Description
The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals from firms specializing in the appraisal of real estate in Loudoun County and other parts of Northern Virginia to perform real estate appraisals on an as needed basis for the County. The primary need for appraisals is related to land acquisition (including easements), however appraisals for other reasons may also be conducted under the RFPs resulting contract. The successful firm(s) shall provide all labor, supervision, and materials required to perform the appraisal work. In addition, the successful firm(s) shall provide consulting work as it relates to real estate appraisal services, as needed. The County intends to award a one (1) year contract with up to three (3) additional one (1) year renewal periods. It is the County’s intent to award contracts to a pool of providers for these services. Firms may submit proposals for residential appraisal services and/or commercial appraisal services. The number of firms awarded will depend on the quality and quantity of proposals received.
