Description

The County seeks qualified contractor(s) to provide cost effective and efficient paratransit services throughout the County, as needed. The Votran paratransit service provides approximately 250,000 trips a year. We currently utilize four paratransit contractors to assist with the demand. The County has determined a partial-brokered system with multiple transportation providers best serves the needs of the County's transportation ADA and transit disadvantaged population. The Transit Services Division contracts out approximately thirty (30%) of trips, while the remaining 70% is handled in house.
