  "summary": "<p>The District is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to remove existing On-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, and installation of new On-site sodium hypochlorite generation system with associated piping as necessary, relocate or remove 35 ton brine tank from inside building to outside, installation of piping to reconnected the relocated or replaced brine tank, and relations of softened water system and piping from underground to above ground. (Requires removal of concrete).</p><p>On-site Sodium hypochlorite system shall be installed and sized for maximum flow demand of 35MGD at 5ppm (1500 pounds a day) with redundancy capabilities. Proposer must provide and install all equipment, components, and safety devices as required. On-Site Generation Systems shall provide a 0.8% solution of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCI) to be used as a disinfectant using salt, water and DC current.</p><p>Work on this project includes labor hours to complete the job and shall include all parts, materials, travel, mobilization, supervision, equipment, and fuel. After completion of the job, customer support and parts availability will be of utmost importance.</p><p>Subcontracting:</p><p> 1) If the bid includes the use of subcontractors, the proposal must identify specific subcontractors and the specific requirements of this specification for which each proposed subcontractor would perform services in the Subcontractor Listing/Shoring Design form.</p><p> 2) All proposed subcontractors must meet the minimum experience and general requirements listed in this specification. The Proposer shall provide a statement of work experience and references for each subcontractor listed herein.</p><p> 3) Furthermore, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure the satisfactory completion of work by its subcontractors. The Contractor shall remain liable to the District for the performance of its subcontractor(s) during the duration of any resulting contract.</p><p>B.\tPreparedness: The Contractor shall provide all hand tools, power tools, power cords, scaffolding, lifts, ladders, temporary lighting, equipment and materials necessary to complete all work. This includes responding to service calls prepared to evaluate and to make repairs; having the necessary materials and supplies with the technician and having parts and equipment required to make repairs on the technician’s truck.</p><p>C. Safety Clearance: The Contractor may be required to perform work in areas that have safety course requirements. In such cases where the Contractor is required to work in a “hazardous location”, it will be the responsibility of the Contractor to successfully complete the courses necessary to obtain appropriate documentation, identification, and/or clearance for all employees who work at that location. The Contractor must exercise all necessary and reasonable precautions regarding safety of persons and property in performance of the contract requirements and while on site.</p><p>Failure to provide the aforementioned documentation may deem the Bidder non-responsive.</p>",
