Description
The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain the services of a qualified general contractor to construct the Stone Ridge Park and Ride Facility ("The Project"). The site for the park and ride is located at 24281 Millstream Drive, Aldie, Virginia 20105 between Stone Carver Drive to the east and Tall Cedars Pkwy to the south in South Riding, Virginia. The total duration of construction of this project is 270 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date. The bid shall encompass the completion and acceptance of the entire project as specified in this Invitation to Bid and accommodate two hundred ninety two (292) standard parking spaces, eight (8) The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant parking spaces, an entrance and exit to interface with Millstream Drive, asphalt and concrete pavement sections, three bus bays with a staging area, three transit shelters, benches, a bike locker, signage, pavement markings, sidewalk and concrete pedestrian plaza, curb and gutter, storm drainage systems with subsurface retention vault, landscaping, complete established turf grass, electrical wiring and conduit, lighting, distribution/service cabinets and all other work as included in the Contract Plans and Specifications prepared by Dewberry Consultants, LLC as approved by Loudoun County Building and Development.
