Description
BVU Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of independent certified public accountants to perform a financial audit for BVU Authority’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, with the option of auditing the financial statements for the two (2) subsequent years. Beginning, Monday July 21, 2014 the Request for Proposals providing specifications for audit services may be picked up at the offices of BVU Authority, 15022 Lee Highway or by contacting Dale Blevins, Supply Chain Manager at dblevins@bvub.com or 276.669.4112. All proposals must be clearly marked “Proposal - Audit Services” and submitted to Dale Blevins no later than August 11, 2014 at 12 pm. At that time, all proposals shall be taken to the 2nd floor Library at BVU Authority where they will be publicly opened and the bidders announced. Selected bidders will be ranked in accordance with the weighted criteria in the request for proposals and BVU will engage in Competitive negotiations pursuant to Section 2.2-4302.A.4 of the Virginia Public Procurement Act. BVU Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive formalities or irregularities, and to select the company whose qualifications, experience and proposed services, in the sole judgment of BVU Authority, are determined to be in the Authority’s best interest.
