The City of Pittsburgh's Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Hazardous Waste (HW) AND Electronic Waste (EW) Program. The City intends to continue the provision of an affordable program under which City of Pittsburgh residents can properly dispose of and/or recycle their EW and HHW. Respondents are required to be PA DEP certified to transport, process, and store HHW, HW, and EW. The awarded contract will be a for a one year period with three separate options for one year renewal.
