The project consists of upgrading the existing freight railroad tracks within the boundaries of the Port of Richmond located at 5000 Deepwater Terminal road, Richmond, VA 23234. Work includes but is not limited to replacement of timber ties, relocation of Tracks 2 and 4, installation of manual switch stands, replacement of switch ties, placement and tamping of ballast, and installation of bumping posts as demonstrated on the construction documents.
