Description
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals necessary to furnish and install roofing for Maintenance Building #04. Install specially cut 1.5" rigid insulation fillers to existing "R" panel metal roof system to provide a flat plane roof surface. Fill existing gutter troughs with rigid insulation to meet new roof plane surface. Install one layer of fiberglass faced silicone treated gypsum board overlay. Overlay shall have pre-primed side up. Mechanically attach all layers to meet FM 1-90 requirements. Install regid tapered insulation between the existing scuppers on each end of the building to provide positive drainage. Install a full adhered .090 total thickness non-reinforced laminated EPDM membrane roof system. Extend membrane up and across the tops of the perimeter walls. Install all necessary flashing and detail work in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and details. Provide for manufacturer's inspection of the completed project to verify compliance with proper construction details. Furnish a two-year contractor's warranty in accordance with the Virginia General Conditions and a Manufacturer's fifteen-year "No-Dollar" warranty covering the completed membrane roof system.
